Ingredients :
250 gms beans finely cut
2 table spoon turdal
1 tbspoon chana dal
3 red chillies
A pinch ofhing
Salt
1 cup grated coconut
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp mustard
Method of Preparation :
Soak the dals, red chillies for 20 minutes and grind to a course paste. Cook this paste separately, placing them in a separate container, in the next deck cook the cut beans by adding salt lightly in a cooker.
Wait for one whistle and remove from the cooker.
Remove the paste, wait for it to cool. Put in a mixie container and grind for one second so that the paste separates easily.
Keep a kadai, light the stove, pour the oil and when it is heated, add the mustard, and the paste powder. Mix well and add the grated coconut, mix for a minute. Finally add the cooked beans. Keep for 4 minutes. Remove from fire. The usili is ready.
